Went to a&e tonight as was in super amount of pain in chest. They done blood test and heart monitor blood pressure ect which all cane back fine. I was told I had gastrointestinal reflux. Although he went into say he doenst know why it’s made me so tired. Note I’m day two of period. I’ve tried to google this and see if there is a link between the two. I’d like to think that maybe I just do have reflux heartburn and it isn’t endo related but as per usual the dr said take these ant acids and see how u go if it doenst improve go back to your Gp. The pain I have had in my chest has been absolutely excruciating and I had never had this issue b4. Is it just reflux

Hi sorry to hear this... I have suffered with this pain and it's worst then childbirth 🙈

Mine was my gallbladder... I do still suffer reflux since they removed it so take omeprezole but mine gets worst in the lead up to my period. Hope this helps a little x

That’s super interesting sorry u have to deal with that crap. May I ask how it feels when u have it? Like describing the pain

Before I had my gallbladder removed it was like a sharp constant pain like a ball stuck up under my ribs and it would make me throw up. I have quite a high pain threshold and this was awful.

Now if u get reflux it just makes me feel sick and when really bad I get like a pain in the chest area x

I developed this very badly after my surgery and meningitis. It was sheer agony and worse than endo pain for me.

Reflux can be caused by NSAID painkillers and also hormones can play a contributory role its believed.

PPIs like omeprazole didn't work well with me but I found h2 blocker plus gaviscon advance liquid behind the counter (not double action) helped along with a strict low acid diet. I did the Dr Aviv one and it helped a lot.

Hi girls,

After 1 pack of cigarettes, I got dizzy, chest pain, choking sensation, stinging heart, pulse 140 bpm and I have not seen with the right eye. During this time I arrived at the Emergency Hospital, where I was given infusions and administered a calcium blocker. This episode lasted about 2 hours. The dizziness persisted for a small part the next day, after which he recovered.

After a few months, I started to take Progesteron (Visanne) and felt strong punctures in the chest with spasms of pain. I was consulted by a lot of dr. and the single one problem was found is a sinusal tahicardia. No medicamentation given.

Very strange..
