Chest pain??

Hi

I'm waiting for a lap to diagnose endo. I have had my usual agony today (screaming most of the day on sofa I'm due my period in few days. I have also had a pain in my chest it's really tight achy pain on my left. It's not agony just annoying like something is there. I have also had an achy arm and pain in top of back. I'm really worried this is something serious but just wanted to check if anyone has had this with endo

First, if your pain is literally making you scream, please contact your GP, or go to A&E as they need to sort out some pain relief for you, even if that means staying in so y can have IV painkillers. Please don't suffer like that 😢

The pain you're describing in your chest and arm also needs attention. If you don't want to go straight to hospital, call 111 for advice, but be prepared that they may say to call an ambulance. Anything involving chest pain, especially going down your arm, is taken very seriously as it could be your heart.

I ended up going to a&e last night as I was worried. I have been on a flight recently and was worried about clots. I was checked and they said my heart and lungs were fine and no clots so that's good

I still have chest pain today along with normal pains. They gave me stronger pain killers which seem to be helping a bit more

I have gyne app on Tuesday so will discuss this with her then. It's probably just another symptom I've got to deal with

Yes I have this with migraine and I also had a lot of chest pain with acid reflux esp around period times. Dr said it was stress but I would get it checked.

I went to a&e last night they said my heart and lungs fine so I'm guessing this may be endo/stress related. I also have migraines like you mention. I have gyne on Tuesday so will discuss this with them then

Aww been there done that. Horrible so scary. I always get this pain arm/chest with migs and periods and have even had an echocardiogram. All to do with endo/migs I think but its so worrying. Are your migs bad? I had mine since age 16 ten endo started too. Sending hugs

Hi thanks for your reply. It's so nice to chat with others who know what I'm feeling like. My migraines are worse lately due to mirena coil. They told me to get mirena and wait 6 months before they refer me for lap. Not sure what to do next. I have always had bad periods (heavy/painful) but they have become unbearable the last 2 years

i also have the mirena - the first 6 months were awful with pain/bleeding but now I take Micronor mini pill in addition and its alot better. Always had bad mig so dr said stick with mirena as it slows endo. Hugs xx

Glad you went to A&E and all is well. It isn't worth the risk with things like that.

Sometimes endo can spread to the lungs, so it may be worth asking them to check for that? xx
