Hi everyone,
The hospital I'm due to have a diagnostic laparoscopy and hysteroscopy at on Saturday (with pre-op on Friday) has stopped all operations and appointments that are not essential (which I'm fairly sure covers mine, even though it feels quite essential to me!) for today and tomorrow due to the snow. With the weather not looking great for the next few days, I'm trying to prepare myself for the fact my op might be cancelled. But really hoping it won't be...
Anyone else who has had a cancelled lap - how long did it take them to reschedule? This is through the NHS, by the way. I was so lucky getting a quick appointment, but feel like that might have been for nothing now and just trying to mentally prepare myself in case I have to wait for quite a while longer. I'm in constant pain with no answers yet and feel like everything is out of my control. Which, to be fair, the snow definitely is!
* Update * My pre-op and lap have both been cancelled due to the weather. The pre-op has been rescheduled for 14th, the lady I spoke to has no idea when the surgeries will be rescheduled for though.
