Hi, I haven’t tried it but I found this programme interesting

The Food Programme - Turmeric - @bbcradio4

As I remember it makes big difference how you take it.

Just a word of warning. There are a lot of quite official looking articles for tumeric at the moment. Tablets, teas, oils etc. None of the articles I've found have been backed by any medical or NHS etc. Most are research being done by pharmaceutical companies or people online independently. Be careful what you believe. A lot of cancer patients are taking supplements as they believe it will help their chemo... But none of is it evidence based.

There's nothing wrong with trying a new suppliments if you feel it's giving you hope etc. But be careful these aren't companies trying to get your money.

Last year it was coconut oil supplements and before that it was cannabis oil or tea supplements.

Some health stores do just sell the tablets or even encorporating it into your diet instead of paying over the odds for capsules etc.

But I hope you find something to help your symptoms, this illness is bloody horrible.

Best of luck xxx

Yes I’ve just started taking supplements instead of the pill after a consultation with a naturopath in Sydney who had Endo and who is treating it naturally. Her name is Kate Powe.

It doesn’t work for everyone but it’s definitely a route I wanted to look in instead of having to take the pill for the next 15-20 years.

I’ve only been on this for 2 weeks now so not noticed anything as of yet.

I’m taking curcumin tablets, zinc and NAC powder.

I’m hoping by my 3rd period thenoain would have gone down.

Thanks
