Having my first lap on the 12th of December

I'm stressing out about it so much. I'm in a negative head space where there's no positive outcome and I think I just need to let out how I am feeling a bit.

What if they find endo? But what if they say there's nothing wrong with me?

Just want to let you know you’re not alone. I’m booked for the 11th of December and I feel exactly the same. I struggle immensely with anxiety and am also finding it difficult to be positive about the outcome. I think when you’ve struggled for so long, you just want a light at the end of the tunnel and the thought of not getting there is scary.

Just read your other post and relate so much. I’m also 30 and always say if the pain was anywhere else in my body I wouldn’t have just accepted it all these years.

Ideally they’ll find minor endo which they can treat xx

They didn’t find any endo with me but that doesn’t mean it isn’t there, some women have multiple laps before endo becomes visible, but they will suggest you have more tests done with gastro etc, and if they do take them, because it’s better the rule out other conditions than to keep ignoring them, sorry I can’t help much more, but good luck for your operation and I really do hope they can give you some answers 🙌🏻❤️x

I know exactly how you feel. I’ve had my first lap on August 3rd for endo(small patch found but pathologist disagrees it’s endo so 🤷🏻‍♀️) then another for my gallbladder on November 14th and I’m having one scheduled for endo/appendix soon (hopefully).

They don’t know what’s causing my pain right now. I understand being scared that they may not find anything. You’re not alone in this!
