Had surgery yesterday- enlarged uterus

Hey all,

So I had my surgery 24 hours ago. I had a laparoscopy, dnc, camera, dye and swab tests.

Initially my consultant said in my pre op she was sure I had endo, chocolate cyst on left ovary and adenomyosis from results on the MRI.

I got the report back today from the surgery and she noted no endometriosis, a/v uterus, 7cm cavity, minimal adhesions and patent tubes. She will be ringing me later to discuss this. I feel worried as to what may be causing my pains all the time and unbearable pains during periods. If it's solely based on the enlarged uterus (adenomyosis) then my only treatment is a hysterectomy. I'm 34 and have two children. I have had 3 miscarriages and we were hoping to have one more soon. Also the past few months I have had trouble emptying my bladder, it's like something is blocking the tube. Maybe the uterus? Feeling deflated tbh and not sure what the next steps are.. sorry for such a long post xx

Hey, i had a lap and dye last Thursday, mine showed no signs of endo either, but some different adheshions were found and it says that there was no evidence of dye spill from either tube. I’ve got to wait 6-8 weeks before i see or speak to my consultant and the wait is already driving me mad, hope you get the answers you want and need 😘 xxx
