Fever-like 6 days post lap

Hey guys, you helped me last week so I'm requesting it agin if that is ok?!

I am waiting for a call from the GP but that may not be until 6pm.

I have been experiencing flu like symptoms since Sunday, I feel AWFUL!! I checked my temperature and it's normal but the chills, headache, earache, pain in my belly and back are causing me to constantly cry and I don't feel like I can cope being this exhausted for another day whilst my fiance is at work.

Ay suggestions guys?

I felt very tired after my laparoscopy for a week or so. Even if it is keyhole it's still surgery and it's normal to be tired after surgery- your body will be healing.

I didn't have any symptoms like you're having. But everyone will vary.

For the temperature and pain I would take paracetamol if you're ok to take that. Keep fluids up and just rest- listen to your body and if you feel tired just sleep- put yourself first 😊

Maybe watch some films or something to distract yourself.

Hopefully the GP will call you back- if they think it's urgent they will fit you earlier- for something unrelated I couldn't get an appointment with a lady doctor ( it was lady problems) and the nurse practitioner cancelled someone's appointment so I could be seen that day. So try not to worry they will act accordingly.
