So i have a very troublesome spot on my left. Ive had this spot now for two years. Not sure if its ovary or bowel, i dont know. Had a colonoscopy without sedation and the second it hit this spot i nearly hit ceiling. Well Thursday i had a transvaginal ultrasound. She pushed into the vaginal wall and said "does that hurt" and i said yes and she said "i thought it might". Not sure what she saw, but at this point it wasnt my ovary as was still trying to locate it. Well i feel ill. Look green. In pain and not feeling my best. Had so many issues with impactions and severe constipation, frequent urination, unilateral swelling/bloating/pain since my lap (treatment) 8 months ago! Like damn, i feel bad. Any thoughts? Wont get my results til i see my Gynae next month!
Ultrasound made me ill.: So i have a very... - Endometriosis UK
Ultrasound made me ill.
I had a recto vaginal nodule between bowel and vagina which caused similar symptoms to what you describe. Is sex painful may I ask?
Sorry for late reply, been at work. Yes sex is painful. All my previous endo was further up. Upper pelvis, abdomen. The last time i felt like this a ruptured endometrioma caused PID. Dont get me wrong, i never feel 100% but seem to be 1000% worse since she poked whatever she poked with the probe! Had to force myself to work today. Xx
Could of course just be a recurrence CE of what happened before. But Dyspareunia was what contributed to my diagnosis. Easily missed as small RV Endo can be hidden under adhesions. It also occurs frequently with ovarian Endo according to this resource. I had one that was treated at my diagnostic. endopaedia.info/subtype14.html
But it sounds like the scanner knew what she saw. You will need to wait for the results to see I guess.
My endo has returned. She pointed out the cyst being back on my ovary. But never said what this was. Just that she expected it to hurt when she had to press to left to try locate my left ovary! I see gp on tuesday so will ask to see if she can access the results. It was my Gynae who sent me for ultrasound after a 4 month course of Zoladex after surgical excision.
I have always found the ultrasoundist the most informative of the two. My gynecologist just wants to see my pregnant, where as the ultrasoundist knows what they are looking at and always tell me exactly what it could be so I'm partially prepared before I go to the gynecologist. I'm surprised she poked it and didn't tell you what it could be...
Me neither! She pointed out the cyst on my ovary though. She took a ton of photos this time too. I maybe being silly but now im wondering if they left something in from surgery in december! I guess ill have to wait for results which as it was a gynae one itll be 27th of next month unless they phone to re-arrange it. I do see GP tuesday so will see if she can access them! It really kills!
I'm riddled with endo cysts on my ovaries and they sometimes bleed which can be absolute agony. Anyway I hope they swiftly find out what it is for you!
I was too. I had excision december just gone. Had a fallopian removed, excision of sigmoid colon, bladder, both ovaries! My endo is back and has been back since end of december! Tbh this is the first time its shown on ultrasound. Even a 5 cm one hasnt before. But this was like hit ceiling poke. Could be endo but not sure why she didnt say. She did a thorough exam, took loads of pics and the only other thing she said was "yes youve got a small cyst on ovary". (Just spent 4 month on Zoladex too).
