I had my lap 2 days ago and my stomach is still bloated and I'm passing quite a bit of discharge is this normal?

Sorry can't offer advice as I am going for first lap next week and as yet have no experience of aftermath but hope you get well soon. One day at a time! I'd say normal for your tummy to be bloated. Don't know about discharge. Maybe ring dr and get advice on that. Take care. X

Hi, the bloating is completely normal, you have been pumped full of air and have also had internal work done which will leave you swollen. It gradually goes down. In terms of the discharge, if you are referring to your incisions, then they may bleed slightly but if there is a discharge that becomes a little smelly then this may be a sign of infection so go to see your GP. I hope this helps, (I am currently recovering 2 days after my fourth lap). XXX

Thank you, I've had discharge from down below that's a bit smelly and from my wound it's been all gunky xxxxx
