Random lap question...

I had my lap on oct the 31st and I have just noticed the incision on my bikini line is not one but two cuts. ( they have been glued and stitched ) One is about 2cm long the other is about 1cm with them being under 0.5 cm apart. Has any one elses like this as I thought I was ment to have 1.

Think it depends on where they look.I had 3 the last time.

It differs everytime, I've had 3 laps and each time the incisions have been different. The last 2 laps (aug and oct) I've had 4 incision sites but more than 4 cuts. Currently I have 2 on my bikini line right next to each other and 4 cuts under my tummy button as well (which I was not expecting at all when I took the dressing off!) a big cut to the right of my belly button and another cut further down on my left side. I think it probably depends on what scar tissue or adhesions they come across as they are doing the op x

I don't think it's anything to be concerned about. With my first Lap I also had two incisions along my bikini line as well as the one in my tummy button. I had another Lap on 21st Oct and this time had just one incision to the left hand side of my abdomen as well as one in my tummy button. Perhaps it just depends on the surgeon and also any previous scarring. Hope your recovery is going well x

Depends upon the surgeon. I've had 3 laps and all of the incisions for each op are in different place between button hole and bikini line.
