My surgery is a month away today! But I've come on my period. I'm just wondering will it matter if I'm on my period while having the surgery? Or shall I go to my doctor to get one of those tablets that can postpone it?
Hope everyone is well x

I was on my period for my lap and my hysterectomy, it's not a problem at all. Wear a pad and then take it off st the last minute and they give you a pad to kind of position between your legs, which they then replace after surgery when you are in recovery xx
I had the exact same concern for mine over a month ago. Periods bring periods it was slow to start so was pretty heavy. One surgeon made a bit of a deal about it buy everyone else I asked said it was no problem. The did everything they need to. Dye test, hysteroscopy, lap which included removing a lot of endometriosis. Try not to worry they are used to it.
