Menopause pill

Hey, I was just wondering...

Has anyone had or are taking the pill that brings on the reversible menopause?

I've been offered it, don't really want to do it but at the same time am sick of this fatigue to the point I can hardly think straight

I'm 36 now so this is playing on my mind also

I didn't go on the pill but I was given the injection. I loved it because I didn't have my period for 9 months!

Are you sure it's a pill?

I've had the injection. I'm 26 and I was offered it when I was 20 and said no as my old gyno never told me the positives and negatives, really wish I had it back then so things hadn't got so bad

Well he said it's a pill. I got the impression it brings on the menopause then if you want to try for a child etc you stop it to reverse it. Sounds a little scary

Sounds similar to zoladex. Don't be scared as it can really help and like you said, it's reversible!

Have you had laps to try and help? I mean the best you can do is talk to your dr about it. The success rate of it working is pretty high which really got me to finally try it as sadly I've tried everything else (except a hysterectomy).

Talk to your dr to see if there are other options but I wouldn't say flat out no yet

Ah thanks hun. I think i will consider it and have another talk to them. It's the fatigue that's drowning me
