Just wanted to give an update to all those ladies who have helped and supported me throughout my diagnosis the last few months.
I had my first diagnostic lap today and they found endo on my womb, lasered it away and fitted the coil. I am extremely sore but so far feeling fine and have no shoulder pain like I expected!
I am so unbearable relieved I feel emotional. To know that for the past 6 years this awful illness has not just been in my head or me not been able to cope with pain that others can-I feel overwhelmed!
I hope you're all doing okay- never give up fighting for an answer. You all deserve one ❤️❤❤️❤️

Ahhh Nicole I totally understand how you're feeling right now. That feeling when everything is validated is like the weight of the world being lifted! I'm so pleased you have your answers and glad that you feel a little bit reassured that your concerns were valid. I hope your recovery is a smooth and quick one. Be so very kind to yourself in these early days and accept all of the support you are offered. Sending good wishes you way. Take care xxx
It's an amazing feeling. I finally feel sane and proved that I was really ill all along. It's just a shame you feel as though you have to prove yourself!
I'm surprisingly feeling way better than I ever thought I would. Another day on the sofa though, just to be on the safe side.
Thanks so much for all your support. Take care of yourself 💙
Glad it all went ok for you and that you don't have the shoulder pain, I was in a lot of discomfort from that. Two or three days after my Laparoscopy I was feeling emotional, I realised that all those years of pain and feeling exhausted was not all in my head and I did have a condition causing me these problems.
