I have the same experience. I am on Yasmin, have been for about 2 years now and was diagnosed with endo in September this year. I also suffer from chronic constipation. When my surgeon spoke to me after my op they said I looked 'severely constipated' and to talk to my gp about it straight away. I've always known that I get it but I had never really worried about it before then. Since my op I have tried to completely change my diet to cut right back on refined sugars, eat more fruit and veg and I eat a cereal high in bran every morning. I aim to drink 2-3 litre of water a day and I also will eat a couple of prunes or dried apricots a few times a week which really helps. I know it can be to do with endo but it can likewise be completely separate to it. I asked my gynaecologist about it at my follow up appointment and she said it's nothing to worry about, some people just have a 'lazy bowel' by nature and just need extra help to get things going! She also advised me to buy movocol (a sachet osmotic laxative) which I take on bad days when the diet doesn't work. She also said linseed is really good for it but I've yet to try it. Hope that helps!
