I tried it but it made me quite angry so I stopped but pills in general aren't great for me, just something to be aware of I guess

I am on yaz. Not sure if there is a difference but I like it. I experience breakthrough bleeding and mood swings though

They are two different pills - Yas and Yasmin.... Not great really for patients as it's confusing!

I used to take Yasmin. And for me it was the best pill I have been on.

I didn't get any side effects at all. No break through bleeding, or skin issues. (although my sex drive disappeared!). I was originally tri-cycling it.

And I also had endometrioma cysts BEFORE going on Yasmin. All the time I was taking the pill the cysts didn't cause me trouble. It was only when I had a break that I experienced the usual pain.

I am on Yasmin too, and have been fine with it. No skin issues or breakthrough bleeding with tricycling. Would recommend compared to the others I have tried before.

I recently tried Yasmin for my awful periods. I took it for nine days and it was horrid. I had terrible stomach upset, my boobs were sore and swollen (my bra was leaving red marks on me as they swelled up that much) and I was an absolute emotional wreck - one night, I sat on the sofa crying my eyes out over absolutely nothing. Decided to stop, informed my doctor and she has requested laparoscopy - I take mefanamic acid, tranexamic acid +/- ibuprofen and buscopan for my period pains and hormone treatment doesn't agree with me (the only one that I get on with is Dianette which is high risk because of liver tumours) so surgical option is next.

Everyone is different with pills but my only advice would be not to persevere if you start to not feel yourself. Good luck!
