First bowel movement after lap - sorry to be graphic!!!

So sorry to be graphic

I have just had my first bowel movement after having endo removed laparoscopically on Friday - so 5 days with no movements!

It was very.... strange in colour and texture... has any body else found this??

Anesthesia can cause change in bowel movements including colour. If however it's red to black get to the doctor since that's a sign of a bigger problem.

I also found this so I don't think there is a reason to worry. Best to Check with your doctor on your post op appointment too though just to be sure!
