Had a laparoscopy and hysteroscopy today. My gynecologist told me I had a lot of endo basically everywhere, he couldn't remove it from my bowel though.. Not to sure why yet
Fortunately it hasn't affected my fertility !! Thank god! Although he said it would probably be a good idea to start a family early. He also said I'm so young to kind have developed such extensive endo
Feeling very relieved but emotional

Good to hear your fertility is still all good! That is my biggest fear. Can I ask how old you are? I'm 24 and have lap booked for Friday people keep telling me my endo shouldn't be that bad because I'm young but I'm not sure how much I believe that!
So what will they do about the endo on your bowel?
I'm 20 turning 21 next month ! Yeah it's a pretty scare thing to hear ! I find out this morning more details from the surgery so can keep you all posted if you'd like x
Surgery on the bowel is very tricky as there is the risk or piercing the bowel which can lead to all kinds of problems. A gynaecologist wouldn't do this surgery for you usually. Did he say anything about seeing a colorectal surgeon? I had a lap at the beginning of the year where I found out my bowel had fused to my pelvic wall and POD but my consultant told me surgery would be too risky then discharged me. Glad to hear your fertility hasn't been effected! Xx
