Acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine

Does anyone have any experience of using acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine to increase fertility whilst having Endo and fibroids? I started having this about 3 weeks ago and I've just had my period which was the most horrendous one yet but the therapist doesn't seem too concerned about this!!!!

We've had long infertility way. 3 years ago I was diagnosed on grade 4 endo. 2 years of TTC didn't bring results. So we had to apply for ivf treatment. We passed it in Ukrainian clinic, had 3 shots.

I tried acupuncture only once. But I cannot say it brought any vivid success. As for Chinese herbal medicines I unfortunately do not have any experience at all. Ladies do seek different ways to boost their chances. Our organisms are different and our bodies react differently to all additional sorts of things. I've read somewhere Royal Jelly creates miracles to women. But I actually doubt this very much.

The best idea here would be to find a nice professional, pass testing and evaluate results. Then a doc will recommend the best option for you.

I've found acupuncture really helpful in the past to regulate periods and for other unrelated health stuff. If you trust your therapist maybe give them a bit more time the accupucturist I was seeing specialized in Gynaecological conditions and my periods and pain definitely improved. Hope this helps.

Hi, I guess everyone is different age wise etc. I have stage 4 endo, fibroids etc. I went to a very expensive clinic in London for Chinese tea and acupuncture. (I don't think we can mention names) but I've seen her advertised as the 'Fertility Godmother'. Anyhow, after treatment and Chinese teas for maybe 5 months I had my second round of IVF and ended up with no eggs whatsoever. For me personally it was the worst lot of 3 rounds of IVF. I also experienced very heavy bleeds during my periods at this time.

Please don't let me put you off. This is only my personal experience and I know a lot of women swear by it. I found the acupuncture relaxing, and think it was possibly the Chinese tea I was drinking twice a day that possibly didn't help. I had my best result taking DHEA tablets and combining that with some acupuncture. Wishing you all the best.
