Acupuncture

Hi wondering if anyone has had acupuncture for the pain from endometriosis? My surgeon has got me an appointment to go get some but just wondering if it's worth going? Still waiting on my appointment for a private surgeon to see them!

I started acupuncture after I was discharged from my gynae and told there was nothing they could do to help me as I'm trying to conceive. I can honestly say it changed my life. I was taking codeine to cope with my pain and was relying on hot water bottles every night. After my first session I had instant pain relief from my bladder and kidneys. I was lucky to have an immediate effect from it but I would say go with an open mind and try it. It's very relaxing so if anything you will get that out of it hopefully.

Thank you! I go on Tuesday for it. Hoping it works and I can get back to some normality. I'm on so many different pain killers that I'm sick quite a lot and have lost loads of weight. Thank you again for your reply and I hope you conceive soon and that your pain free soon x

I had acupuncture for pain, nausea and vomiting I had following endometrioma removal. It was a great help

Thank you, I've had nausea and vomiting to but from my pain relief I'm on and had loss of appetite which has made me lose so much weight. Thank you again

I tried acupuncture but unfortunately it did not do anything for me. And did not find it relaxing at all!

But, it's definitely worth a try. It might hurt work for you.
