Hi I just wanted to know if anyone has experience loss of appetite and weight loss after prostap. I've been hearing that most will put weight on but wondered if losing appetite is normal. Had injection in June and since lost about 6llb. I haven't tried to lose weight but I'm finding have no apetite.

Hello. Yes I lost weight on zoledex injections about 10lbs. I didn't try I think it's because I was so hot all the time I was for ever drinking water. Since coming of the injections I've lost a further stone. It's like it kick started my body. Hope the injections work for you x

Yes, I lost weight, not quite a stone over the 5 months I had the injections. I was a bridesmaid and the dress kept having to be taken in. My appetite was slightly reduced, but I was still eating more than my weight loss suggested. My GP tested me for diabetes, but it wasn't that. Once i stopped the injections I went back to normal.

I decided it was because I felt so well on Prostap, apart from hot flushes and joint pain, that I was using up more energy than usual.

Does that sound familiar to you?

Hi, what is prostap and what is it for please? I'm getting injections to "shut down my ovaries and bring on temp. menopause" Is that the same thing as you? x

Wish that was happening for me, I just seem to be putting weight on. I'm 4 1/2 weeks post lap so not doing my full gym workouts like before yet, pushed it a bit the other day and abdomen was bit sore 😞. Second injection next week so hoping side effects won't get too bad x
