Tens machine for pain relief

Hello,

I am new to this forum and I was only diagnosed a few weeks ago. I was wondering if anybody had had any success with TENs machines for pain relief especially during their period? I am thinking of buying a small portable machine from Lloyds pharmacy to give it a go.

Many Thanks in advance!

Hi they do a disposable one for £4.99 which you could try and if it works then get the normal one.

I use one when I'm in a lot of pain and it really does bring me some relief. I was lucky enough to have my insurer cover most of the cost for an Empi, the Cadillac of TENs machines. Unfortunately, right after I bought it the company that makes them went out of business.

Ive had a small one from Lloyds for years!! Bought if for back/neck problems!!

It does help with my endo pain but it's only short term.

Pain returns quickly after, but worth giving it ago!!

I find it helps, not suppose to use it after eating though which is a little annoying, but honestly worth a go :) x

I use a Boots miniTENS machine on my leg. I wouldn't do without it. Bought it when on offer £15 instead of usual £20. Best move I ever made. It sticks with silicone gel pads - I'm allergic to plasters. Hope this helps x
