I'm taking pain killers every day, I had a lap in March with endo removed and Adenomyosis diagnosed, I then had a hysterectomy in July for the adeno, unfortunately I'm still in daily pain, I've just had a MRI and I'm now waiting for follow up 26th Feb,

I beleave my endo wasn't all removed, I was operated on both times by a genral gyne surgeon,

I'm now under a BSGE centre

What are you having a hysterectomy for??

My operation was done in March last year 2cyst was taken out and some endo but Dr didnot release my left ovary which was attached to bowl as he didn't wanted to damage the bowl.i was fine for 2 months then started to get pain agin on left side then he put me on provera pills agin was fine for 2 months, later started to bleed so was send for scan there they found out my endometrial linning gone thick along with fibroids that increased in size.when I went for follow up Dr told me hormones don't suit you,u r in pain so the best solution is hysterectomy my Dr is BSGE.he put me on the waiting list finger cross as 2 surgeons are needed to operate me, other one is the bowl surgeon.

That great that your under a BSGE centre, and they will excise all your endo at the same time as your hysterectomy, how long have you been waiting so far, I recovered well after my hysterectomy, if you gave any questions I don't mind trying to answer fir you, fingers crossed fir a quick date.

I am having a total hysterectomy on Tuesday plus remaining left ovary and tube out for endo plus damage from an incomplete Novasure procedure. I am so scared. Any advice for post op recovery and were you in a lot of pain when you woke up? Am glad you are recovering well. Thank you for any advice. Katrina x
