Oh the irony...!

A bit of a tongue in cheek post for today....

So today 20 something days post lap and 3 days back in to work and I get asked... 'how far gone are you ?'

Luckily for me;

1. I have no desire to ever have children (good job judging by the state of my ovaries!)

2. I have a sense of humour

But it wasn't exactly a confidence boost !

I will share with you my lovely endo tummy, so you can see my issue !

I have been cheering myself up with silly ideas, one of which is making a t shirt that says Endo not Embryo ....

haha don't worry at all I'm 19 and am 11 days post op and have been looking very much like a teen pregnancy as everyone has liked to point out, it's just natural swelling! xx

Sorry to hear you've had the op so young 😥 I am 31. It's charming how people love to point out our flaws !

That is funny. I'm glad you don't want to have children otherwise that would probably have been painful.

This may be a naive question... is it possible that the reason my tummy is puffy is because of the endo? I exercise and am in decent shape in general, and an average weight, but always seem to have a bit of a tummy no matter what I do. Jeans that fit in the butt never want to button. Could this actually be endo related? Thanks!

Yeah I think most definitely related to endo! My swelling now is because of my op, but I am also a gym girl and work hard to stay in shape but I never achieve a flat tummy, mine always used to swell more on my left side and during my op they removed a large endometrioma from my left side, so surely it must be related !
