Hello ladies, I was just wondering if the fatigue goes away after successful excision surgery?

Has it improved for any of you at all?

Many thanks in advance for any replies! Xx

I think the exhaustion from having to live with the pain goes as it's less painful in my experience, so there is some improvement but I haven't seen it completely go after 3 laps I still feel it's there but in my case it's not as bad as it was without the treatment.

Hi

I've been researching, and apparently magnesium supplements are supposed to help with fatigue, I've only just started taking them so I can't say for sure but its worth a try.

Hey. I had excision surgery 10 weeks ago. I had very severe daily fatigue before hand. I'm now finding that my fatigue had reduced by about 80% on a daily basis, but it can still flare if I overdo things if that makes sense. Hope this helps.

I have been walking around with a lot of fatigue a year later. I have been getting some help with my thoughts/feelings/physical complains, because i still have those at the moment.

It is hardgoing this endo, i think we need to find a balance for all of it and make sure we look after ourselves and when we have a bad day, chill out more and try to relax.

Sometimes easier said then done though.

Hi, I take magnesium 250g and ferroglobin by vitabiotics for iron replenishment. Make sure you take both these supplements at regular intervals ,maybe start with magnesium first for a least a month.

Each supplement effects people differently !

Research both online so you understand what you are taking.

The magnesium will help you sleep more restfully therefore you will feel more rested and refreshed, then it's easier to keep a positive mind. You can also get spray on magnesium as an alternative . All the best

I think it's hard to say if the fatigue goes completely. It may not be the endo as the full cause. I know I was mentally stressed by it all. I had 6 months after excision surgery where I was 95% better and now going abit down hill as some symptoms have returned. But just remember, we are only a small community of endo sufferers on here, thousands of women have had great success after surgery. I have a friend who's never had one complaint after having it done 6 years ago xx
