Hi Ladies.

I'm feeling very anxious and unwell I have been having a left sided pain and problems going to the toilet. I've been taking laxatives but in still getting pain and I feel like it's not moving, I'm kind of convinced I have some kind of blockage but awaiting a colonoscopy.

I have been in awful pain today and called Gp and she has given me oramorph. I have felt like as well as my bowel area hurting like my womb has been contracting aswell, but I suddenly feel like my uterus is trying to escape I feel heavy in my vaginal area and that kind of feeling when your pushing a baby out?

I'm really scared does anyone know what this is.

I'm going to get a Dr appointment tomorrow.

Thanks for anyone who replies I'm in a real state about this x

Hi Jo, sorry your having a crap day, join the club, lol, ive been feeling very similar for weeks now, actually feel like I'm in labour, and feel very heavy down below, ive got my Gp ringing me in morning, re pain meds,

I think that and the constipation is probably our adeno, how long have you not been for, mine is 4 days with nothing then I might go every 2 days for a while, but without being too graphic, my poo if not hard and pebble like, is thin and long like something is pushing it to be like that, when you go what is it like??

I might ask my doc got oral morph, how much did she give you??

It's worrying me so much I have these kind of stabbing pain coming and going for a few weeks but today it has been all day and I suddenly got up this evening and I feel like when the a baby's head is crowning. I've just taken morphine can feel pain dulling but the pressure is still there. It's been 2 days I have been taking 8 sachets of laxido for 4 days which makes me have poo like water but not loads of it. Today and yesterday I have taken 3 sachets and nothing I feel like it can't move my stomach is so swollen. Yes when I got it what Dr calls pencil still really thin and hardly anything.

I'm not sure how much it's downstairs and I'm in the bed now I think about 150ml and it she said only when severe pain like now it kicked in quick can just feel pressure and it feels like labour contractions going to call Dr first thing I have so had enough

Thanks for replying hun it odes help me to know it isn't just me having this crap x

I'm hoping so haven't slept last 2 nights I feel like muscles are relaxing more than usually do. I know they are a nightmare my Dr is great she will see me or speak to me at any point it's trying to get the bloody reception to pass a message or get her to call me.

I can have 5ml 4 x a day, I can feel already it's more effective than the tramadol.

Yeah I'm going to try to sleep as I am sure tomorrow is going to be another one of those days x

I wonder if you may have a prolapsed uterus as that feels like a dragging or falling out feeling like pushing out a baby. I would ask your gp to do a internal exam to see if it is or not. This can cause problems with your bladder and bowel depending on what it has prolapsed on. Xx

Hi hun.

Mum has literally just rang me and said the same thing I have recently been diagnosed with Endometriosis and Adenomyosis and I was told that my uterus was enlarged and inflamed so I'm thinking maybe it could be I'm still feeling like it this morning I slept with My morphine I have been feeling like I really need to push to wee since my laparoscopy and bowel problems seems worse than ever since operation

I'm going to ring Dr at 8.30 so hopefully get answers I'm terrified they are going to send me for a emergency hysterectomy I only found out I had it 8 weeks ago 😧

Thanks so much for replying x

I also have endo and adenomyosis and an enlarged inflammed uterus. I am also a women's health physiotherapist too. A prolapse can cause you to have problems going for a wee as if you can't get it out or still feel not emptied when been to the loo. Same with the bowel. I take it you have children from your mummy name? Once we have kids you are more at risk of prolapse. I hope you manage to see your gp. Message me if you have any more questions xx

It feels like In pushing hard to wee I haven't been too poo for 3 days. Yes i have 3 kids they were all vaginal births I'm so scared. I've got a appointment at 10 do you think they will send me for a hysterectomy? Xx

I didn't mean to scare you. I'm so sorry. If you do have a prolapse if it's not too big they should refer you on to a woman's health Physio for pelvic floor rehab as this can prevent surgery in some cases. If this does not work they may do surgery to correct the prolapse, which isn't a hysterectomy . The more children we have the more the pelvic floor gets stretched and as this holds our bladder, bowel and uterus in place it puts us at more risk of a prolapse. Women often get constipated with a prolapse. The key thing is not to strain on the loo as this can make things worse. Only go when feel the urge, drink lots of fluids eat lots of fruit and veg and fibre. When sitting on loo have feet resting on a something a pack of loo roll or kids stool then rest forearms on thighs. This helps to straighten a natural kink in the bowel making things easier to move. Going for walks helps to get bowels moving too. how did you get in with your gp? Xx

Hi no you didn't scare me I just feel scared of what's going on I y body. I'm sat I the in the waiting room feeling like I'm in labour even after morphine I can barely sit down. I'm hoping this is going to get sorted as there is no way I'm willing to stay like this. I get constipated all the time I eat really healthy and drink at least 3 litres water a day that s why I can't understand why this is happening to me xx

I have also had the pain & pressure you are talking about (I also have three kids) The last time I had it when it was really severe, I turns out I had a UTI. I have also been diagnosed with adenomyosis & endometriosis & am awaiting hysterectomy. I often get lots of pressure, a feeling like everything's falling out, constipation & trouble peeling. After a lot of research & joining a FB support group, it seems these can be all symptoms of adenomyosis. I hope you get some answers at the doctors.

I have follow up with gynaecology in June but she did say if I was still in pain I would need hysterectomy. I'm really hoping they sort it I feel like I'm in labour today xx

I get all of those symptoms! But I don't have a prolapse but I do have rectovaginal endometriosis if you look on endopedia and look up RV endo I think you will find a good match for your symptoms.

Good luck Sharon

The burning and crowing feeling are symptoms of adeno Hun

Xx

All sounds adeno related to me Hun I've had all of those loads of times how are you now? Xx
