10 days in hospital

Hello ladies, been a while since my last post. I've been in hospital for 10 days now had two excruciating spinal biopsy and peg line put in today. Been told my spinal infection called discitis is due to the severity of my endometriosis and is the reason for all my severe back and hip pain along with numbness and leg pain. Having 12 weeks of iv antibiotics and will be in hospital for a while yet. Won't be able to have my endo surgery until this infection has cleared up!!! Can't wait to go home :-( xx

You poor thing! Does this mean you have endo in your spine? I think I may have this. I have muscle twitches in my leg and paraesthesia. There was a problem when I went for nerve conduction studies but all he said was "do you have back pain? Oh well that explains it. Probably a trapped nerve" nothing else. I'm sure my spine is involved in my endo hell .

Hi Lindle, lovely to hear from you. I've been in hospital for the last few weeks having treatment for this spinal infection due to my endo. Now home which is lovely although still having iv antibiotics through a picc line with the district nurse everyday. Had another mri scan on Friday and will be getting results tomorrow. Had to cancel my endo surgery as they are worried about cross infection. Still in alot of pain and have a long way to go yet. Hope all is well with you? Hugs x

Hello Victoria, I realize this is an older post but just wanted to see how you feel? did the infection cleared up? are you doing better? I struggle with very similar symptoms and wanted to see how are you doing. Especially the severe pain after the period? Are you still experiencing these?

If you read this message, please let me know. Thank you!
