Hello. I had large chocolate cysts on my left ovary for the second time in 4 years, so unfortunately they had to remove it during my second lap over a week ago as it was clearly a problem area for me.

I used to suffer with a dull ache on both sides, which sometimes spread down my legs, and a tweaking sensation as though someone was actually pinching both ovaries around ovulation time, even though the issue was with my left one. I also suffered with lower back pain and now during my op recovery, I've had these sensations on my right side, even though it was my left side they excised (my specialist said it's just everything setting down as it's all connected).

So don't be alarmed, it doesn't sound unusual, and it may be that the pain from your left side is just being radiated out through the right x

I have the exact same problem. I think the cysts are formed because of latent glucose issues. I've been taking chromium to control my sugar levels, but I'm wondering whether I may need something stronger for it, like Berberine, also known to solve this problem.

Your not alone ..me too and I just thanks God for giving e a second life to live ..having endo in life is horrible ,too much pain ,too much trouble ..at young age the first symptoms I have was I am quickly urinating and if I can't do it right away the pain in my left side of ovary so pain at first it was mild until at age 24 ,last Dec 2011 I suffer heavy bleeding for mmorebthan 21 days and it did not stop until I went to visit a doctor and they prescribed me a medication to stop ..until then everytime I eat a food that has tomato sauce nor paste I feel sore in my left ovary as well..but the obgyn said its no related to my end..started then I not much believed much what they told me ..second they don't know how I feel ..and for me as I experience surgery is not the answer to remove the cyst ..cause once it remove it keeps coming back ...life having endo is not easy ..there are times i wanna give up ..but the only thing I survive just prayer .I not re!y my life into medication cause I hate it since I am a kid ..I hate taking pills that has side effects and I had allergies reactions ........
