the beginning year of 2023 i would suddenly start to bleed from my Pelvic with pelvic pain and Lower back pain. I would bleed from a few days to weeks, the bleeding would stop for a short period of time typically about an hour then start back bleeding with pain. In May 2023 the ER did a Pelvic scan and found a CYST on my Right Ovary said it wasn't big, STILL THEY DID NOTHING but send me home...Here i am October 23 2023 bleeding and in pain AGAIN, I didn't think anything of it but now October 27, 2023 I'm back at the ER because Im still bleeding and pain has Worsen they've done a Cat Scan I'm waiting on results!! ANY ADVICE/HELP/TIPS anything to help me figure out what's really going on would really be appreciated and helpful

You need to see a gynaecologist, I don't know how ER works in the US but in the UK going there is a waste of time as they have no specialist doctors. You neeed to see a gynaecologist and get an MRI scan. I think a CAT scan will show cancer but don't think it will show endo. Just get yurself to the right kind of doctor, that will be a good start.

Hey I'm just now waking up, I was told yesterday at the ER to not do much research cause I would scare myself!! But me I found this website after being told that because I couldn't get any answers from them!!! I was told that stool was on my left side and my right side from my Pelvic coming up to my stomach is inflamed or has inflammation on that side and couldn't get any answers on why it was there!!! They didn't give me any pain meds or anything for the inflammation....I woke up still in pain.... should I go back???

I just had my 3rd exam done it was a Pelvic exam with the probe thing like they did in may when they found my cyst.....I'm waiting on results!

Hello. So sorry to hear you what you are going through. I was exactly in the same position you are two years ago.On morning I woke up with lower back pain, cramping and plevis pain all rolled in one. At this point didn't think much of it just period pain like every month, I took pain killers and made myself a hot water bottle. The pain just got wore over time were I ended up curly myself like a ball. In the end I was rushed to accident and emergency department, had all the works blood test,CT scan etc was in A and E over four hours. The CT scan results came back resulting that I had a Cyst on my left ovary 8cm but they didn't know if it was cancer at this stage. I got referred urgently by the emergency doctor to see a gynecologist the next day. The next day I went to the Gynecologist department they had no record of me being referred by the A and E doctor at this point I was frustrated not knowing what was going on. I left my details at the front desk, I was informed that someone would call me on the same day. Two days went by no contact from the hospital so I called and called nothing so I went back to the hospital and asked why no one had contacted me yet, got fobbed off we are looking into it, so I went home continue to call over and over, finally got through was told that the hospital had lost my referral so I was booked in for ultrasound scan and more blood works the next day. I had to wait for the results two weeks. Once the results came back my CA125 where very high and also confirmed a cyst on ovary at this point the gynecologist didn't know what they were dealing with. So had MRI aswell to investigate any more cyst were found. So I was put on the emergency surgery list to have laparoscopic surgery. The sugeron found find my cyst had reputed and lucky didn't course more damage. I was diagnosed with endometriosis. My advice would be to push and push until you get answers and also push to see a gynecologist consultant or endometriosis specialist. Don't delay as your cyst could grow further and course you more pain, from the symptoms you have described I would say its endometriosis, I am no specialist talking from experience. All the best from the 🇬🇧.

.

I hope you get your answers 💛

Yes I would definitely go back to ER and get some meds for your pain and inflammation. The ER doctors should of given you some pain meds before you left the hospital to ease the pain.I don't know what your diet is like. I worked with a nutritionist for over year, I was put on a gluten free diet and non dairy diet which has helped with my inflammatory quiet a bit. Gluten and dairy are the big factor of flare ups with endometriosis. Also cut down on coffee also it aggravates the flare up also sugary foods, red meat and fatty foods are bad for endometriosis. Vit D good for endometriosis and magnesium. Salmon good for flare up, acovdos, blueberries, raspberries, seeds and nuts of any kind no salty ones.

You can also go on a website called endometriosis uk, it helps you understand your symptoms, advice and what next steps you should take if you are not getting anyone. I know you live in the USA but it will give you a lead way to get your answers.

I hope this helps you🙏.

CT scan, don't help much, definitely an MRI scan so they can look deeper. You can request for MRI from the ER doctor. If they don't give you one. Monday morning make an urgent appointment with your ob doctor and ask for a urgent referral for MRI scan and explain you are pain constantly its affecting you and you need answers.

I can not diagnose but share with you that i had an ovarian cyst, same symptoms. Surgery wasn’t an option at the time. I decided to try my friend’s advise before surgery. I drank Organic apple cider twice a day on an empty stomach (about a shot glass size per shot) and it went away within 2 weeks and never came back!
