Post operative pain

Underwent laproscopic sub total hystarectomy and endometriosis ablation, including removal of a lump from my bowel 3 Nov.

Ovaries & cervix left so I would not yet need HRT

Discharged from hospital following day & was re-admitted 16/11 for 1 night due to ongoing pain & discomfort.

About 4 Wks post op things seemed to settle a lot.

Since then though I have continued to get the odd bought of pain lasting days and this week, almost 7 weeks post op, went on a drive in the car, got stuck in traffic for an hour and the pain had become quite bad.

Is this normal? I'm due to return to work on 5th Jan

Just would like to speak to anyone who's had similar or, have some advice

Kellie
