Pain back again...

Hi guys, So, I was active on this site 5 months ago when I was having extreme severe rectal shooting pain during menstruation (sorry for TMI)

I posted something similar, talking about how I had an ultrasound appointment, but at this stage wasn't sure if it was endometriosis/ still am not sure if it's endometriosis... With the ultrasound they said my ovaries had nothing( I was especially worried about ovarian cysts, etc.) so I was extremely relieved. My GP told me there was a good and bad side to this, saying that my ovaries were nothing to worry about, however now he didn't know if it could be endometriosis... So he said if I want I could go for a lap, but I was a bit scared and anxious so I left it at that. He told me to come back if the pain got worse, etc. The pain then began to stop for a few months, though now it's back, and today it struck the worse like it usually would. I will also mention that this is the second-third day of my period after it skipped a whole month, I'm guessing due to stress cause I've been extremely stressed out for a while... I'm wondering if a lap is my last option now, although I'm scared as hell!

Hi!

I personally found some relieve in knowing what I had. I had symptoms forb12 years and fobbed off by doctors all the times (even sent to therapists as everything was in my mind).

My personal recommendation is that if you go for a lap do it with an endo specialist and ask endo to be excised if they find it. Otherwise you will only have a diagnostic without any pain relief :-).

I'm overseas at the moment, in Turkey. I was born in Australia however and am not sure when we will return since my dad wants to live here... I may go back soon tho, and once I do I may go to a endo specialist and yeah probably get a lap done, just so I can be sure if it's endo or not.

I guess I'd be a bit releived to know its endo rather than something horrible so I can get treatment for it. I do want kids in the future and the good thing is there are personal options and treatment. Thanks for your reply and sharing your experience! Xo

Not all surgery would help .,,once it removes it will come back that's the real truth ...cause I already had surgery and been suffering more than I never expect ..I thought at first I gonna be fine .and I thought as well once the cyst remove the pain will gone but still I suffer .more more pain that I wanted to die ...I keep crying everytime my period too much pain that you don't know what you gonna do,..the pain that you can't explain..the pain you want to go to toilet cause you thought it was just a poops...the pain that you can eat ,sit even lying on bed and sleeping .so much stress can make it worst, when I work hard and lifted heavy load I feel pain in my left ovary ,carrying above 2 kilos i suffer pain during at night ,,.its crazy but its what I feel ...just this year last september 8 after seven days uheavy flow that lasted October 31 ..but I feel no pain and exactly my period stop nov6. Then started. Back Nov 24_30 but thanks God normal flow

Dont worry about lap honest, i had mine thursday evening. was up and about on saturday and been out and driving today, no pain meds since yest and had stuff done internally PMA :))) xxx

You will surprise not a good idea at all.....I regret after I realised having a surgery wontcreally help
