Have some peppermint tea or drops on standby for after as the gas will build up and this will help get rid.

I also say get soothers as your throat is dry when you come round. If you are known to suffer with nausea mention this as they will give you anti sickness tablets.

My bed for the first few days was like an old persons 5 pillows for shoulders and 2 for my bottom as I could only sleep upright.

Sounds silly but get everything you want to eat or drink on top couple of shelves in fridge. Trust me it helps :)

Drink plenty of water and get plenty of rest. Don't forget pads just in case :)

Good luck x

Thank you this helps a lot!! X I'm in so much pain now and bleeding again (my period ended last week so I'm guessing this is ovulation). I bleed enough to have to wear pads again :( plus I'm getting bad heart palps even though I'm relaxed as can possibly be considering I feel wiped out. I can't wait for the op now to hopefully put an end to all of this

Are they aware of the heavy bleeding?

I wore night pads when I got changed after I came round, as they are thicker.

Maybe take some arnica afterwards too ? This will help wounds to heal.

Have you tried lavender oil in the bath or chamomile tea? This will help you relax and hopefully your heart palpitations before the operation.

Yeh I have chamomile tea every night before bed xx I get insomnia every now and again so I find that helps. I've got arnica from when I had my c-section so il take some of those after the op to.
