Hi ladies are there any success stories on getting pregnant after lap and marina coil I had my lap last month and the marina put in but since then my body's rejecting it so I'm getting it removed on weds my consultant told me to try for a baby soon has anyone got pregnant after lap and marina how long did it take x thank you in advance x

I rejected the coil too. I have if you get pregnant within the first year to eighteen month you're considered to have normal fertility. Being diagnosed with endo means they step in with help after a year, sooner than other ladies get. I was pregnant in my first month of trying, I didn't do any fertility drugs or ovulation sticks. The only advice I have is not to stress about it , enjoy sex don't force yourself to do it to get pregnant. And doctors now say your highest chance for conceiving is if you have sex every other day, you get his best sperm and you won't miss your window. If I sound smug I'm really not I promise. I just know how upsetting it can be when you put too much pressure on yourself and your partner. Oh and get yourself the pregnancy vitamins. I used the vitabiotics trying to conceive ones, made my periods regular and supported my body to do it. Good luck xxx

I think everyone starts out ttc saying just relax, don't stress & have sex when you want. But after ttc for over 2 yrs that all goes out the window & you do opks u time ttc & u chart your temp to make sure u get the exact date. I hope you don't have to do all this n u get your bfp quickly. Good luck

I got pregnant accidentally after missing two days of the pill, almost 5 years after a laparotomy. no mirena though. I thought they preferred to give those only to women who had already had one child?

That's what I thought but my consultant said try it it's brilliant although I was reluctant to have it as last time and this time my bodied rejected it I had it fitted while under so wasn't to bad I had it out today the thing is horrible cramping sickness the whole works but hopefully everything goes back to normal and I get my bfp soon x
