I recently received a confirmed diagnosis of endo following an MRI that showed deep-infiltrating adhesions that are quite far developed.
Following on from this I had a phone call with an endo specialist nurse to discuss MRI results and treatment. I was very overwhelmed and didn't want to make important decisions over the phone and so quickly, so she arranged for me to have an appointment with their consultant.
My appointment is next month, and I'm feeling quite apprehensive - I don't know what questions to ask, whether to ask for ablation or excision, how I feel about surgery?!
Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Jot things down as you think of them, the endo UK site has great information that will help you formulate questions. If it’s a specialist they will remove the endo rather than destroy it.
Is it a face to face or telephone? Maybe you can ask if someone can go with you or have phone on speaker. You did the right thing in taking your time.
Thanks for the reply! It's supposed to be a face-to-face appointment with a specialist that will hopefully still go ahead, it was rearranged due to coronavirus.
I'll definitely take a list of questions with me, I'm just worried I'll forget to ask them all!
It's a face-to-face appointment with my specialist. Thanks for the idea to jot down contact details, I never would've thought of that! I'll definitely take a list and ask someone to come with me x
