Hiya! I had my lap back in October; the surgeon found a twisted and stuck left ovary, endometriosis on my uterus and in my ovarian pouch and cysts on my fallopian tubes which were drained. I am not on any hormonal treatments. Since the operation my pain has reduced so much, I had my copper coil removed also and though I still get heavy painful periods, they are no only 7-8 days long rather than 12+ at times.
I seem to ovulate on different sides every month; when i'm ovulating on my right side other than getting a little moody and having an upset tummy I sail through it without issue. But when I ovulate on my left side I'm just in agony, have to take strong pain killers every 4 hours and have to have a hot water bottle on my tummy constantly. I was in hospital about 6 weeks back with severe pain in my stomach which the doctors imagined to be a burst cyst, i've been booked in for a scan, which is next tuesday, but i'm just worried that there's some real damage to my left ovary? The last scan that I had was a week before my surgery and they couldn't see anything wrong! Despite my ovary not even being there!!
Thanks for your answers in advance xx

yes I do . severe intense pain , just feels like passing it out each time. It's crazy. I've tried everything , you name it I've done it. I've been battling with this ovulation pain for long time now. and relied on very strong painkiller injections. Tablets don't work for my pain. I've had 3 miscarriages and many IUI to have a baby but nothing worked out . I was told by the dr that I'm having scar tissue and adhesion related endometriosis and they can't do much about . so I was given Cerazzette hormone pills to suppress my ovulation and it was god sent for about 8 months and then I started having bad pelvic pain and joints and spinal aches and nerves pain radiating in both my legs . I was admitted and was given 13 steroid jabs for my mysterious hip, pelvic and spinal pain. And the pain stayed and got worse. But a physiotherapist told me to stop the pills as nothing else ( acupuncture, chiropractic, traditional , physiotheraphy ) worked.. So after suffering for one whole year and in and out of the hospital , I stopped it and all the pain somewhat disappeared. But I got back my period and ovulation pain in vengeance... and ever since i'm suffering every month to the point I can't work now.
