Cerazette
Hi sammyrobinson
I was on cerazette and did have some outbreaks and the latest outbreak made me go to 24 walk in clinic where my endo was diagnosed. I would contact your gp or a nurse there just to put your mind at rest.
I'm sure everything will be ok.
Hi there,
I was put on Cerazette after getting headaches with my previous pill, and I hated it because of all the breakthrough bleeding (my previous pill was a 21-day one so you know when your period was going to be each month).
My GP told me it was one of those pills where you either don't bleed at all or bleed at random times, it differs from person to person - it's normal, so don't worry! xx
Had a similar thing with cerazette - really did not get on well with that pill at all!! I'm on the copper coil, they inserted it before realising that I possibly had endo (hormones were masking it before) I'm waiting for my lap and having it removed then as I was in agony having it put in without GA, possibly replaced by a mirena.
Hi Sammy
Just another endo sufferer adding that I too tried but didn't get along with Cerazette. It gave me bad headaches so much so that I went and had my eyes checked at the opticians.
I also had irregular bleeding with Cerazette and generally my body just wasn't happy with it. I managed three months on it then changed back to my former pill which was Femulen.
The Mirena is also worth trying if you can persevere through the initial settling in period. I would advise you to take a couple of painkillers on the day it is inserted as it can be a bit uncomfortable. Many ladies have commented on the fact they didnt like it but many ladies also say its great so hope it suits you more than the mini pill.

hi I have been on cerazette for over 2 years now to help with my endo. It has changed my life, no more pain at all pretty much from the start. it's my life saviour!!!! In terms of bleeding though, it has taken over 18 months for my period to completely stop, I was still bleeding although not much and not for long (more like dry yucky blood). if it helps with the pain, I'd recommend to stick to it and wait until your period stabilise.
