Does anyone have any positive experiences of taking Cerazette? I wasn't due on until Tuesday and hadn't made up my mind about whether to take it or not but I have unexpectedly come on today so need to make up my mind quick........I was actually supposed to take it two periods ago but have been too scared to take it. Please help! x

I started taking cerazette about six weeks ago and I would say my pelvic pain is almost completely gone. It's not without compromises tho. The bleeding appears to have settled down now but I have really bad bloating and nausea. Not sure if this is caused by the pill or the cyst on my ovary. I think everyone responds differently to it but you never know unless you try!!

Thanks for your reply, i just don't understand why doctors are giving us treatments that make some of our symptoms worse? I already have bloating and nausea and i don't want it made any worse. I don't want any of my symptoms aggravated :( that's my dilemma - get rid of one symptom but the condition is other symptoms are made worse x

I think it's one of those pills that work very differently for everyone so you really won't know until you try it. Personally the first few months I had swollen breasts that were a bit sore but that's now died down. Now I just have some more spots then I used to, occasional food cravings and still get v.light periods. The only annoying thing is the unpredictability of when I come on but it's never that often thankfully.

For me it's been a lifesaver. Before that I was in bad pain three weeks out of four and taking constant ibuprofen (which unfortunately I think has now led to gastritis). So I wouldn't go back.

Just remember that people are always more likely to post if they've had a negative experiences and give it a few months before deciding you want something else. I think there'll always be side effects with drugs you take, it's just whether or not you're better off now then you were before!

I've been using it for a while now and it's really helped with the pain with very little bother.

I used to be on cerazette and it really didnt suit me at all. Not really problems With nausea or bloating but awful upset stomach, achy limbs, severe acne and painful boobs to yye poinf where i couldnt wear a bra.made me feel awfully down. really just wasnt myself on it.That's not to say it won't work for you though I'd say give it a try :). Before cerazette I was on femadette which was a godsend for managing my symptoms so I think it's just a case of finding the right pill for you. Hope you have a good experience! X

I think as others have said each person's body responds to treatment in different ways, I had a rubbish experience with it and had bleeding (less heavy mind) for 5 months constantly. I hope it helps you x
