I was put on cerezette a few years back. No side effects as far as I can remember and helped with pain during the three weeks off but did nothing for that week. Not that mine was ever a week, 10 days at least! After about 18 months -2 years pain came back throughout the month.

I'd say its worth a go as we are all different after all. xx

I was put on it a few months ago and it didn't agree with me. I was so nauseous that i couldn't even get out of bed! Afterwards my consultant explained that the pill treatments make your body think it is pregnant.....when i was pregnant with my daughter eight years ago i had an awful pregnancy and was hospitalized because my sickness was that bad so that explains why the cerezette didn't work well for me and i stopped taking it after a week. I am now trying the injection because they make your body think its in menopause. I'm starting to realise that we have to decide as individuals what we can handle better....pregnancy symptoms, menopause symptoms or Endo symptoms! And don't forget that everyone's body experiences pregnancy, menopause and Endo symptoms differently. So hopefully for you cerezette will work well for you Hun xx

Hiya, I've been on cerazette for the last year. Personally I've found it fantastic. I've not had one period, and it has helped to dumb down my pain considerably, though it hasn't taken it away completely.

as CurlyWurlyAmy mentioned sometimes you can get some weird feelings but it does mimic pregnancy so that may explain some of them. Hope it goes well for you x

Hi I have been on cerazette for 7 years non-stop taking it every day so no periods. I didn't have any side effects apart from putting on a little weight but I recently suffered regular migraines and then had an awful break out and found myself in hospital undergoing the lap D&C where my endometriosis was diagnosed. My advice would be to take a break from it every couple of years as my consultant said that is masked my symptoms and that it no longer was working for me. I must say though that I couldn't have imagined my life without it as I was placed on it for terrible period pains and whilst on it, was able to live a normal happy life. Good luck.

Hiya, I have been on it for 18 months with no break, I take x2 pills a day to control my cycle. I have had no issues and its helped massively with my pain, I have gained a stone though but it's a small price to pay for getting some normality back in my life.

I was on it back to back for eanrly two years to stop my periods, then my body became tolerant so they up'd the dose to two a day. But I because tolerant to that too. But whilst it was working, it was good, I felt functional.
