Has anyone taken cerazette and it's initially made things worse but it's got better. I've taken 2 packets of cerazette and I'm on my third period already my last one started 13 days ago my pain is no better and I've had some new sharp pains! I want to persevere if it will get better but it just seems to of made things worse. Anyone had a similar experience with this pill??

Hi there, I don't have endo but suffer chronic pelvic pain from pelvic inflammatory disease and dysfunctional bleeding. I went onto cerrazette and it was hell. I managed 5 weeks on it. It increased my pelvic pain and made me bleed so doc told me to double dose which I did. The bleeding stopped but my pain continued. Never again.

Thanks Boodie that doesn't sound great then! I think if I say something to my Gp she will just say double the dose but sounds like it doesn't help the pain so pointless..

Hi I have adenomyosis and suspected endometriosis and 2 months into cerazette too. It's not just you.

To begin with I thought it was great and my low mood/nerviness and lack of energy that I'd had with my other pill, got so much better, but I've been bleeding pretty much every day and I'd say I'm getting mild cramps every day with really sharp peaks every week or so - I'm feeling really down about it all now.

My uterus is also permanently bloated and so sensitive I can barely wear trousers or sit down. And it must be pressing on my bladder because I'm constantly needing the loo and when I go I often don't even need to go.

It sucks that you're having problems too but it's nice to know I'm not alone with this. X

Hi Helephant 3. I'm sorry your struggling with it too but it's good to hear I'm not the only one! I know what you mean about feeling down about it, it's just given me more flare ups and I'm feeling really bloated too I look like I've grown a extra stomach! I've also had some really sharp pains before periods and cramping in my vagina which I haven't had before and they were really sharp! I've never had issue with bleeding its just pain for me, but I've bled more since taking this pill. It's like it's created more problems. Do you think you'll carry on with it ? I just don't know if it's worth going the 3 months or just try something else X

I'm going to carry on until I see my gynae if I can- I'm going to see my gp about the sensitivity though. I've refused a lap and figure they are trying to do what's best for me now so I hope if I try everything they offer then I will end up with a better outcome. It is difficult though - sometimes I wish I could just come off it all x

Awe it is difficult isn't it knowing what to do for the best. I think I will give it the 3 months and just hope I only get one more period in that time! Bloody hormones all over the place don't help do they! Good luck x
