What was your first period like after your laparoscopy?

Hey, mine was heavy and lasted 6 days after my 1st, after my 2/3 they lasted 4 days, but dont forget everyone is different x

yes that true everyone is different and mine was lucky i wasnt bleeding badly just normal bleed that all and it was a quick diagnosic lap for me!! but when i had the test done to see what wrong with me inside and found out that i had fibroid and it was big and i bled non stop for 9 hours and i was that worn out!! i never want to go though that again with fibroids and i suffered with that for 2 years bleeding non stop!!! constantly buy toilet rolls and sanitary towels and i cannot use Tampon as they make my stomach hurt!!

gemsau and tinker241 are right everyone is different, but when i had my first period after my laparascopy i was shocked! i've never suffered heavy periods before so it came as a shock when my first period after my laparascopy was mega heavy! it lasted about a week and i felt absolutely terrible and was bleeding so much and i proper panicked but it is apparently normal. like i say though everyone is different and if you get worried don't hesitate to see your gp but mine said it isn't uncommon to be heavy, but it probably does differ for everyone

Mine was much less painful than it used to be but I think it is because they drained and mobilised 5cm endometrioma in my ovary, only needed paracetamol as opposed to tramadol and diclofenac before my lap. First period lasted 9 days though instead of my usual 7. x

Thankyou guys, I am due on ... yesterday... I got some pain last night but then nothing happened last night or today so far so its a bit odd....

I have a feeling that this period will be longer than normal ... i don't know why...

mine was normal just more Wight gain.but my problem is baby I want to get pregnant can some one please tell me what to do so I can get pregnant
