On and Off Sensor Issues: DEXCOM

The sensor that I was using last week was acting up. It would first give numbers and then disappear for a few minutes to a few hours at a time. I never called to say anything because by the time I was going to call, the numbers would come back-- before the 3 hour wait period. Very hectic and nail biting sort of speaking. This has been going on since last Wednesday afternoon.

I had been woken up on Thursday early morning due to the DEXCOM alarming that I was under 80 mg/dl. Had a snack and then went back to sleep for a little while before having to get up, again at 6:30 am.

Today, I put a new sensor in before heading to work for the day. So far, so good.

Dinner time now here.

At least it woke you up when it really did need to work! Do you have to wear it 24 hours or could you just wear it at night? Sorry showing my ignorance here I guess ☹️

Wear it for 7 days/24 hours each week per sensor.

So far, so good. The new sensor is doing okay. Nothing to worry about right now. :-)
