Sorry this is later than usual, but I had been really busy and tired out lately this week. I'm going to try and get this typed then get some rest.

I had changed the sensor on Wednesday morning before heading to work and this sensor I'm using is doing fairly well so far. No complaints! I hadn't even put any tape to hold anything on, yet.

While I was at my job for the Senior Center, I had to look at the DEXCOM's receiver since I thought something didn't seem right. Turned out, things were okay, but I was hearing things (I thought the alarms were going off). I thought I felt a vibration coming from my pocket, but it wasn't the DEXCOM. In some odd ways, that made me feel okay and then it was time to get back to work.

Lately, I've been running a little lower before bed and dinner time. I had a snack before dinner last night since the number was 109 mg/dl on my Breeze2 and the DEXCOM thought I was 130 with the arrow down at an angle. This would've been okay if it was time to actually have dinner, but since it was earlier and it was really warm outside, I had an apple and a bar for a small snack. The bar and apple helped slightly. I had dinner at 5:30 pm and did a shot. Heat really gets the blood sugars to go down quite fast.

Hiya,

Thanks for continue to post your experiences with your Dexcom. It seems that it's getting better now and not failing as often. I'm seriously thinking of getting the UK version when I've saved up some money. If I do get one we will be able to compare notes.

Keep on with the good work.

TT x

Thank you for saying this. That really made my day.

When would you be getting your own UK version of the DEXCOM?

I don't know because they are very expensive. I'm waiting for some money to come from a bus crash I was in over 18 months ago and when the claim is settled I'll have some spare cash. I keep trying to save up but, because I'm not working it's difficult because I keep dipping into it. I'll let you know when I get one but it might not be for a couple of months.

Not what you're looking for?
