Wow! What an interesting week I've had with the DEXCOM.
¡Wow! Qué semana tan interesante he tenido con el DEXCOM.
The week started out like always-- things were moving nice and smoothly, but since Wednesday evening into parts of Thursday, the old sensor I just replaced right now was acting up. I was thinking about calling Technical Support and asking for another sensor since the numbers didn't show up on either the cellphone I use or the reciever for almost 2.5 hours (if it had been the entire 3 hours, I would've had to change the sensor last night and stayed up beyond 12 midnight to do the calibration). Lucky me, things came back the way they should have and I could go to bed at a reasonable time.
La semana comenzó como siempre - las cosas se movían agradable y suavemente, pero desde la tarde del miércoles en partes del jueves, el viejo sensor que sólo sustituí ahora mismo se estropeaba. Pensaba en vocación del Apoyo técnico y petición de otro sensor ya que los números no se revelaron por el teléfono celular que uso o el receptor durante casi 2.5 horas (si hubieran sido las 3 horas enteras, habría tenido que cambiar el sensor anoche y me quedé más allá de 12 medianoche para hacer la calibración). Afortunado mí, las cosas volvieron el modo que deberían tener y me podría acostar en un tiempo razonable.
This afternoon, on the way home from my job at the Senior Center, my numbers on the DEXCOM said that I was in the 113-114 area and the arrows were either angling down or straight down. I really don't know why the numbers were so low this afternoon since I thought what I had eaten for lunch was much more carb-filled then I normally have at lunch time.
Esta tarde, en el camino a casa de mi trabajo en el Centro Mayor, mis números en el DEXCOM dijeron que estaba en el área 113-114 y las flechas se desviaban o abajo o directamente abajo. Realmente no sé por qué los números eran tan bajos esta tarde ya que pensaba lo que había comido para el almuerzo estuvo mucho más carb-lleno entonces normalmente tengo en la hora de la comida.
Tomorrow afternoon, a friend of mine from when I was in High School will be visiting with me and we'll be going out for lunch. I'm going to let you all know what happens and if the numbers go lower, again on the DEXCOM. It'll be a surprise for everyone, I'm sure!
Mañana por la tarde, mi amigo de cuando estaba en la Escuela secundaria visitará conmigo y saldremos para el almuerzo. Voy a dejar a todos ustedes saber lo que pasa y si los números van más abajo, otra vez en el DEXCOM. ¡Será una sorpresa para cada uno, estoy seguro!
