Week 33: DEXCOM (Semana 33: DEXCOM)

This evening, after dinner and a call to the DEXCOM company, it was necessary for me to change my sensor a day before because the sensor wouldn't work even with giving it the 3 hours to come back on its own. It is a shame because I had some high hopes that it wouldn't come down to me needing to call Technical Support and asking for a new, free sensor to be shipped to me by Tuesday next week (this is the earliest I was promised for one to arrive).

Esta tarde, después de la comida y una llamada a la compañía DEXCOM, era necesario para mí cambiar mi sensor un día antes porque el sensor no trabajaría hasta con darlo las 3 horas para volver solo. Es una vergüenza porque tenía algunas esperanzas altas que no se trataría de mí teniendo que llamar el Apoyo técnico y pidiendo un sensor nuevo, libre para transportarse a mí antes del martes la próxima semana (esto es el más temprano me prometieron por su parte llegar).

All day long today, the old sensor had been acting odd and having the numbers all over the place. One time, I saw the numbers and arrows going straight down, but then the next minute, the numbers and arrows would go angling-- or not be there at all. I hate it when the arrows aren't there because this gets me really worried and not sure where or how the numbers will end up once there are any arrows present. I've got to say, there's been a lot more testing today than normal. This is because of the bad sensor, I'm sure.

Todo el día hoy, el viejo sensor había estado interpretando raro y teniendo los números por todas partes. Un tiempo, vi los números y flechas que siguen derecho abajo, pero entonces en el minuto siguiente, los números y las flechas irían desviándose - o no estarían allí en absoluto. Lo odio cuando las flechas no están allí porque esto me preocupa realmente y no seguro donde o cómo los números terminarán una vez que haya cualquier flecha presente. Tengo que decir, hubo mucho más pruebas hoy que normal. Esto es debido al sensor malo, estoy seguro.

  • My senor has been acting up. Must now put on every week or earlier since hospitalization. I'm so thin maybe reason for not beable to have readings. My husband does not understand it, it was just replaced 4 days ago. Like yourself I will have to support.

  • Call Technical Support and tell them what's wrong. Tell them to SEND A FREE REPLACEMENT SENSOR. Mine should be here by Tuesday 12 noon, or near that time.
