It was first time when I was diagnosed in June'17 when my FBS - 313 & PPBS - 343, while few months ago i.e. in Feb'17, my blood sugar levels(random) was 113. After 1 month FBS - 264 & PPBS - 514, again checking after 15 days it got FBS - 253 & PPBS > 500. Now I am taking medicine from August'17 'GLIMESTAR-2' (1 dose in the morning before meal) & Melmet-500 SR (2 dose after meal, 1 in the morning & 1 at night). Now my blood sugar levels becomes FBS between 90-100 & PPBS betwwen 125-140. Now a days i.e. from Nov'17 I have stopped 1 dose of Melmet-500 SR, my blood sugar levels FBS between 90-100 & PPBS between 130-145.
Please suggest.

furst of all please dont decide your blood sugar level by PPBS and fbs it is wrong (ive explained it in my posts ) rather HBa1c decides your diabetes level nothing to worry yu are doing extremely well all the best

Composition of glimestar 2 mg (brand name) is glimepiride 2 mg (generic name).
Composition for Melmet 500mg Tablet SR (brand name)
is Metformin (500mg) (generic name).
Glimepiride is used along with diet and exercise, and sometimes with other medications, to treat type 2 diabetes (condition in which the body does not use insulin normally and, therefore, cannot control the amount of sugar in the blood). Since your blood sugar may become very high, you need dual drug therapy.
