LCHF diet causes constipation.
Coconut water helps in diarrhea control, is constipative.
It is rich source of potassium which is good for reducing blood pressure.it is an best ideal fluid how can it aggravate constipation.anyway one glass can be taken .although I mostly rely on 1 litre masti buttermilk from amul.thanks
in Calcutta in old days when anyone suffered from diarrhea doctor prescribed coconut water. I happened to have a couple of coconut trees in my villa and during a thunder storm a whole bunch came down. While going for an outing I took about 3-4 tender coconut waters to keep me going. No dehydration, nice taste but constipative. Avoid when you have digestive tendency. Also butter milk is constipative tendency and to be avoided when you feel that way. Orange with pulp and skin (not the peel) is very good.
Death in diarrhoe does not happen due to only water loss.the problem is sodium potassium imbalance.slight imbalance is there and heart will stop pumping.plenty of potassium in coco water saves lives.for sodium ORS is given.this is the practical solution.it was not given becos it will stop colonic movement.
ok. thank you. good i wrote back to you so i could get this info.
I would advise to take 2 tsp of isabgol husk mixed in a glass of water before half an hour of dinner and I do not think you will face any constipation problem. I also faced the same problem due to reduced intake of chapatis but it has gone after using isabgol husk. It also helps in reduction in cholesterol to some extent.
You r right even in emergency situation were nothing is available coco water is the only life saving fluid which is used.
i don't think so. intead it it helps to ease the motion
