Hello rsenthil82.

LCHF is not a diet - it's a lifestyle change which if followed correctly will restore your metabolism and you will be free of the dreadful consequences of T2 diabetes.

Broadly speaking it means exchanging foods that spike blood sugar (rice, potato, pasta, anything that says 'low fat' and needs to be opened) for the foods that your grandparents would recognise.

Just google LCHF.

This is correct interpretation for so called LCHF.But should be careful not to take high fats especially unsaturated which cause plaque in blood vessels causing blockade to the flow of blood. It is better first to pay attention to the causative factor of type 2 diabetes that ids PANCREASE which secretes Insuline for the conversation of Glucose in the blood to energy for the development of body cells

"...the causative factor of type 2 diabetes that ids PANCREASE..."

How is pancreas the causative factor of T2DM?

First understand what is diabetes? When food composed of carbohydrates is converted to glucose(Sugar) in the blood. This is to be utilizxed by the body and converted to energy for the development by insulin a product produced by Pancrease. If the pancrease stops to produce insulin, glucose quantity increases in the blood which effects various organs adversely.this is called diabetes.the quantity of glucose has been standartised to be 70 to 110 mg/dl fasting and 140 to 160 mg/dl post diet taking.if it is beyond these readiongs it is diabetes. Now it leads us to the production of insulin by pancrease. If the pancrease stopa production of insulin(Which happens in children and young people) called type 1,and if the insulin is produced but is not properly utilized and glucose in blood increases, type 2 diabetes.IOn type one the pacrease is to be replaced, while in type2 either insuline prepared artificially is injected to convert glucose or if mild change of life style and exercise may improve

It is no cure but change of life style.Avoid excess carbohydrate containg diet such as rice, wheat grains, potatoes pasta and such diet. But the second part that is high fat especially unsaturated fats to save your blood circulatory system as these cause development of plaque in the blood vessels causing obstruction to the flow of blood
