I am insulin dependent diabetes since 20 years and my HBA16 always comes out to be 10.9 plus.

Despite taking Galvus Met 50 /500,Glymet 1 G,Cardace 10 mg,Ecosprin 150 mg,Pregabalin

Kindly let me know how do i reduce Insulin( Human Mixtard 40 BBF and 30 BD) intake and bring my HBA16 to 6.0 Level.Is this level hereditary

I go for regular walk 5 - 6 Km.

Carbohydrate restriction should be the first priority. Without which you will not be able to control your BS levels. At your stage LCHF diet is the most appropriate way forward. Do not go by what scientist or theoreticians tell you. LCHF is practiced by many doctors all over the world. You are here because conventional approach failed to control your diabetes. So better give a try for LCHF diet. Many of the forum members have benefited by switching their diet to LCHF. What is important is your health. Mere theory is useless in decease management practical approach is important.

I do not see any reason in indiacratus reply. Doctors will not recommend LCHF because they will go out of business. It is high time you refer to results of many in this forum. Also when countries like Sweden openly advocate LCHF, statement by indiacratus carries no meaning at all.

Thanks for the Reply. It is very sad that the health industry is controlled by the Pharma Industry. America is totally business minded in every thing. My experience with LCHF is wonderful . Even if a million people tell me I will not give up the health I have gained with LCHF. That is science for me.
