My Hb1Ac is 9.9 and fasting sugar is 155. I am on Gemer-2 tablet 4/day. Do you suggest, I should shift to insulin now ? What are the criteria to use insulin? Thanks

Well said. Have great determination. Take as less carbs as you can. I was also advised insulin but i decided to take grain free diet and for last six odd months i'm on grain free diet. Reduced 10kg wait and lost 2" of waist circumference. Now my lab reports are under reasonable control. Try to control carbs well below 100g per day. Try to keep it at 50-60 g per day with lots of good fats.

No wheat, rice and initially no millets even. Now i'm on gluten free diet. Take millets occasionally. That too in a mash regime using millets instead of wheat in (lw)mdr.

Hi. I am a metabolically challenged person. I have been following this forum since last 6 months. I read carefully the advice of Mr. Anup.

My FBS is around 150 and PP is around 200. I have just started Low Carb High Fat Diet. Please suggest me the foods that I can take as Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner separately with a lot of variety.

I shall be grateful to you. Please help me.

Thanks,

You have to learn carb and calorie counting. Find out the food that don't raise your bs. As a general rule carbs less than 100g per day. No to simple carbs like sugar. Take complex carb within the limit. Protein 1g / kg body weight / day. 60% or more calories should come from good fats. Reduce weight. Do exercise to your taste and capacity. Follow IF. Remember fbs is more difficult than pp to control. Have patience and faith in what you are doing. Take care.

Good luck.
