I really want to change to LCHF. Since, Medfree is not here in this community, I request your help.

I am a type 2 diabeties. South Indian 54 years old. Having Diabetes for past 20 years. I do exercise at Gym, but not regulary at least 15 days in a month. I am an Office goer. I am carrying my lunch to my office daily. On sunday, when I checked my sugar FF was 234 and PP is 271. Really I am worried. Earlier, 2/3 months before it was below 200 and nowadays its was increasing.

The following are the medicines which I am taking for the past 1 month, prescribed by my doctor Mr. Periyandavar.

Glynase XL-5, ISTAVEL 100mg and also I am taking NefroSave, Multi - UP, Nerutide. Since my feet is having burning sensation I am talking Pevesca Plus. Following are my food patterns.

Normally, I am taking Idly, dosa, wheat dosa, oats uppma, bread sandwhich for breakfast

For lunch I take brown rice, sambar, rasam, and one vegetable with curd.

During dinner, I normally take wheat flour dosa and at times normal dosa.

My sincere request to you is, to change to LCHF,what type of breakfast, Lunch and Dinner should be taken.

Can you tell me in detail Please.

Thanks in Advance

If you can take egg, I recommend that you take two eggs for breakfast ( either boiled or as omelet or whichever way you want ) just for a day .Use butter or ghee for frying. Check the ppbg after 2 hrs .You will see a magic figure much less than your normal .It is because egg contains very low carbohydrate .

Carbohydrates break down into simple glucose molecules during the process of digestion and increase the blood sugar .For diabetics the blood sugar stays high due to insulin resistance .A diet low in carbohydrates will not spike the blood sugar as much as a diet rich in carbohydrate .Now , look at your diet !

Egg breakfast teaches us an important lesson : If you want to control your blood sugar , you need to reduce your intake of carbohydrates

2/3 days I can take egg omelt, and for the other days (daily eating egg will be difficult) do we have anything else to eat as breakfast. Can I have a cup of coffee or tea along with that.

You can have a cup of coffee , but use fresh cream instead of milk since milk contains lactose which is a form of glucose .You can add 1 tbsp of virgin coconut oil to the coffee to increase its fat calories , As suggested by AxEffect , sign up for dlife.in/ . to find more breakfast suggestions

Black coffee without milk? (I take ten cups daily but probably 0.75 gram coffee powder per cup).

I take 3 egg whites, one toasted chappati of about 55 grams made with 30% barley flour mixed in whole wheat flour and 40 grams cheddar cheese blended in egg white. I have taken a saucer of milk tea with sugar but the sum of all the tea intake in 2014 is < 1 liter.

(I am the person who brought dowel average blood sugar from > 285 in beginning of the year to 126 without medication.

Other than egg, what can I have for breakfast, can I have oats uppma or long wheat mash. Kindly answer since, your answer will be useful/helpful to so many peoples in this forum. Even, if you give the dishes for lunch and dinner.

I think yes! Long wheat is low carb. Oats is better than wheat. You may add cheese to breakfast.

Long wheat is not low carb. It has high fiber and protein.

shrisamarth:

I have read a few places that long grain rice has lower carb or starch than the stouter variety.

Some rice varieties are low in glycemic response. But I am still doubtful about there impact on BS in diabetics. Most foods tested on non diabetics don't work for diabetics.

In addition to controlling your carbohydrates,Exercise is one of the most important things you can do to keep your blood sugar levels in balance and to decrease your risk of diabetes complications.Exercise makes you more fit,it also makes you feel better, look better, and boosts your self esteem.Exercise can strengthen your heart, lower blood pressure, and reduce your stress. Do not join any website which does not support scientifically material.

Have you study material, show me when and where you have researched this. You have no answers to my replies, you cannot counter these as these are based on facts, researches done by dedicated researchers, and i give evidences for this.I am not here for advertising for any particular website.,like you . As is the old saying in Hindi,KAHIN KI EENT KAHIN KA RORA,BHANUMATI NE KUNBA JORA.that is your position. You are giving ads just like Madari, who roams in bazars saying he has has the answers of all yours problems. Therefore donot be overactive,Mr.

Mr Ax Effect , Please do not react on this forum who ever wish to listen to us listen. Please I request every body do not pass comments to any one. It is a personal choice to decide LCHF is better or some other. But a person criticizing LCHF should practice at least for one month and report on this forum. Choice is always for the followers. Thanks.

makarim, who are these users? As for courtesy, no troll would have have it. They are shameless by and large and that's why they are trolls and they love trolling religiously and even love getting abusive. That's a typical trait of a troll -- swear, abuse, insult. I have found many iPhone users troll on android articles and vice versa on phone tech sites.
