Avoid milk powders as they contain sugar. Instead use natural full fat milk in small quantity. It will be better if you switch to green tea.

If you are on LCHF diet then what is your diet? Your BS levels are very high.

Nothing can replace a natural full fat milk with processed and powdered Milk for help you need to put other details as been asked Diet chart as you are on LCHF diet i assume by default you shouldn't be using skimmed milk /powdered milk at all . some people can tolerate Milk some can't i don't think the spikes are due to that i guess you are on High carb diet try to restrict them and as u said replace your coffee with green tea or lemon tea . meds also work if u be on low carb diet .

Fasting blood sugar should be less than 100 mg/dL and post-prandial blood sugar should be less than 140 mg/dL in order to avoid diabetic complications.

Undergo HbA1c test. A1c is a lab test that shows the average level of blood sugar (glucose) over the previous 3 months. It shows how well you are controlling your diabetes.

Target value should be less than 7%.

You can use Sagar skimmed milk powder (Amul) if so desired. Sagar SMP is a non-fat , protein rich milk powder. Most suitable for use by people on low calorie and high protein diet.

oh i c ! exactly then i am sure he needs to test more stringently the BS levels ! when its not getting down even on low carb food and if the reading are persistent for a month then no alternative but to increase the meds or switch to insulin . carbs has to be replaced with fat diet and carbs has to be restricted with right dose of meds and needs to be checked regularly .

Friend for better control of diabetic please avoid milk any form liquid or powder. Other then tea you may use vegetable juice. Remember if you follow lcfh diet you will not feel hungry and you need not require to old suggestion I.e. you have to eat every two hourly light meal.

Thank you

Best of luck

Normally diabetics take at least 3-5 hours to normalise their BS. Eating every two hours will only increase the base line level.

Yes I realise two to three meals per day is suffice & you realise more healthy. Light & more energy to work. Remember our body require very little carb. for our brain which body can make him self. And you will improve your nutritional ketone body. That's good for us.
